Craig Q. King, a native of Manning, South Carolina, now resides in Columbia, where he serves as the Director of Teacher Leadership for the Palmetto State Teachers Association and Call Me MiSTER Site Coordinator at Columbia College. As the CEO and Founder of The Craig King Group, LLC, and a Communications Consultant with Blacksheep Global, Craig brings a wealth of experience to his roles. He is also the author of The Path to Exceptional Living: 15 Lessons to Living an Extraordinary Life, co-host of the Conversations with Craig & Kobie podcast, and host of The PSTA Podcast.

A proud alumnus of South Carolina State University, Craig earned a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2004 and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2007. His career as an educator began as a third-grade teacher at Whittaker Elementary School, where he spent seven impactful years. He achieved National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist and was named the 2007-2008 District Teacher of the Year for Orangeburg Consolidated School District Five. His community service efforts earned him the 2008 Charles Dickerson Community Service Award, and he was twice recognized as WLTX News 19's Teacher of the Week in 2007.

Craig’s commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. He has served as an adjunct professor at South Carolina State University’s Honors College, teaching Leadership Development. Additionally, he has worked as an education consultant for the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.
Passionate about giving back, Craig directs the children’s ministry at The Brook Columbia and mentors children with cancer through Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and Camp Kemo Programs, where he also chairs the advisory council. He co-founded Craig Q. King’s Celebration of Life Gala, which, with community support, has raised over $120,000 for cancer research and support programs. Craig is deeply involved in supporting the homeless through partnerships with United Ministries of Manning, SC, and Friends of the Homeless of Columbia, SC, and he participates in South Carolina's Adopt a Highway Program to keep local roads litter-free.

Craig is married to Tasia King, and they have one daughter, Saniah. A 24-year cancer survivor, Craig is driven by his mission to inspire, teach, and serve others—using his life’s journey to motivate those around him.
